That reminds me of a political cartoon by the editorial cartoonist Conrad from back in the Reagan era ... it showed Reagan as a cowboy, smiling and waving his ten-gallon hat, sitting on the belly of an upside down (dead) horse labelled "the economy." The caption was "back in the saddle again."
